Get your digital identity paperwork in order gang if you want to stay online at at-least one of the top social networks. You never know when their Robocop (Digital Gestapo) will stop you and question your identity.
It happened to me on September 12 2015.

In my case I had the immediate opportunity to comply and provide it in an unknown manner; like I still do not yet know what kind of files they want. They have provided descriptions of the information they desire but nothing about file types and places to submit them.
They gave me the option of Robocop returning in 7 days while I'm using their service for me to comply or I'd be 86ed from part of my digital world I had created for myself.
I've since scanned my California State Photo ID with my Birthday. And a Business Card I've given to people for years, which shows my authentic name Pop Find and no other name.
My Business Card also shows the Internet address to my authentic Twitter (http://twitter.com/popfind) and Facebook (http://facebook.com/popfind) Accounts.
I am also my authentic self as Pop Find on YouTube (http://youtube.com/popfind)
I shred all my mail almost as soon as I get it so I need to wait to get a new piece of mail addressed to me PopFind 10701 Wilshire Blvd 2002 LA CA 90024.
I will be posting scans of some of my mail with my authentic name and address as they want some of that too.
They already have two cell phone numbers on file for me. One was verified and the other says it received a text. They have my email address and send me email most everyday. I would have thought that was enough. And I've used my authentic name on their network for over 5 years.
I hope this will be enough to keep the Digital Gestapo from showing up over and over or worse killing or threatening part of my digital life. I hope many of my other friends make it through this strange digital frontier.
I know that many of the people who are on my friends lists might not have enough digital proof of their authentic identity if asked for it at random on the spot. I am lucky I had access to a scanner. I know I didn't when asked. And I didn't expect to be asked.
Times have changed read this example of one of the social networks new name policy stating they only want to help and have made it easier to comply.

Looks like I might be done using a certain social media service.
I thought they solved the NAME thing last year! But I just got a notice saying they are going to shut down my account if I don't give them an ID with the name Pop Find.
It sucks because I have been an active user of this social network for 5 years. Almost everyone who has ever met me knows me as Pop Find.
99% of you don't even know my birth name.
SO IF I AM GONE IN 7 DAYS YOU WILL KNOW WHY!

I thought they had already delt with this f'd-up name issues last year. Many of us Artists, Punks, Club Kids, Party Promoters, Performers and Transsexuals don't use our birth names. ACK!
I really liked the service. It will suck for me if they toss me off their network over this issue.
I haven't used MySpace for years. I guess I'll get used to all the free time I'll have once they toss me off.
Maybe I'll go build something new and cool instead of wasting time supporting the efforts of companies who do not have respect for their users identity.
Maybe even go back to using SecondLife more. We all need to evolve beyond this 2D social network thing into 3D anyway.
I have enjoyed communicating with all of you!
I have not physically met many of the people I have grown to call friends online over the last 5 years at this one Social Network. It was also a fun way to get and stay in touch with many people who were formerly close friends who's lives have become full with families and work and are consumed by other life experiences. It was nice to see what you all have been doing.
Looks like I have 7 days till I loose my identity and/or all my online friends on that network or I am forced to use a name most of you don't know or have never heard.
It's been fun while it lasted. I knew these people could not be trusted.

I now know what it feels like to be persecuted as a minority by a large corporation for having a different sounding name. I thank you for further teaching me what it might feel like to be a minority in the State of Arizona. #AllIdentitiesMatter
I was targeted by a corporations computer and ID checked because of my name! My identity is in Question! I have 7 Robodays to comply or my account will be frozen or deleted.
I admit I did think of joining Scientology to inlist an ally to fight the machine. I hear they beat the IRS maybe they can help defeat the Indignity Machine.
But I prefer to comply rather then resist or God forbid even consider rebeling against such a huge machine so I will do all I can to comply with the needs of the huge wonderful thing we have grown to know and love.
They already have my Cell Phone numbers linked to my account so you would think that would be enough of a link to prove who I am.
I am going to find a way to get at least one current ID with my name Pop Find on it.

I hate this feeling I am having since I got ID checked by Facebook. I don't want them to cut me off from my friends and family.
I have questions too!
What caused me to be ID checked?
Is Facebook randomly checking IDs or are they profiling Facebook users?
Would they have flagged my name if my name was John Johnson
Why must we provide information at a random time? Facebook choose to ID check me after almost 5 years as a user!
Why can we only provide the information when demanded and/or wait a week with this thing hanging over your head?
How do we know it is not a hacker asking for personal information? We see nothing in our profile after we get flagged!
Why do they not supply information on file names and types we need to provide?
Why is there no Information on how to submit these files when we do have them?
Why not allow information to be submitted as part of user profile under security along with phone number?
Why is a verified phone number not enough?
Since it is not part of our profile and accessible by each user we are left to trust Facebook and it's employees with our most important and personal documents.
When we supply our identity documents, who reviews them?
How long does it take to review them?
Will my account be shut down during the review process?

My authentic name is real! I have met people on-line who only know ME as Pop Find! I have met people on-line and then later met them in the real world who only remember me as Pop Find and could not tell you my legal name. I have met people in the real world who I given a business card to in Real Life who only know me as Pop Find and could not tell you my legal name. A friend contacted me today worried about proving his own Identity to Facebook and said that they were sending me a letter/envelope with a self addressed stamped envelope so I could send one back to them incase they gets harassed by Facebook. I think this is a great idea. We all need to write more letters.

I'm just upset because I'm traveling overseas next week to go to Dismaland in England and I don't know when their machine will ask for these scans I hope are the right size and format before they shut my account off because I have an unusual authentic name.
I've never even had a scan of my ID. I don't trust putting one on my computer. THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU!
I continue to feel bullied, harassed and threatened by Facebook over this Identity issue.
The longer it takes them to fix the issue and confirm my Identity the worse things look. Friends are coming out of the wood work telling me horror stories about things that have happened to them. How they were harassed into submission by Facebook in the name of saving them from bullies, harassment and threats.
My friend "Tee Joy" was forced by Facebook to change her name to "Terita Joy" because Facebook more then likely targeted her and profiled her because of her name. She told me "I had the Facebook name Tee Joy for years and they made me change it. Terita Joy is my birth name. But I only had Tee Joy for privacy reasons" Privacy is the reason Facebook used to harass her and threatened her ability to continue her online friendships through their service.
Glamorous Monique was forced to reveal he name as Monique A Allen. I'm sure she used Glamorous Monique so she would not reveal her birth name and become the target of bullies, harassment and threats because of her gender identity!
I have a number of friends who have either been bullied, harassed and threatened into changing there authentic name to another name by Facebook.
I have friends who have their authentic name credited on more then a dozen published Record Albums over 20 years who have been bullied, harassed and threatened by Facebook and forced to change their authentic names to a legal name no one knows.
They all tell me awful stories about how there profiles have been destroyed, and their ability to use Facebook as they had in the past. One stated "Couldnt Agree More~IT SUCKED. why I opened the Second Account. I had too. As You Said You Lose ALL Contacts.What other choice is there... It Sucks but this is the only openly accepted platform . I use it the same way. Rarely use a phone. IT IS More then just an inconvenience. and So Very Frustrating. Keep Your Head Up. They Know this is an Issue"
I will leave Facebook before I stop using my authentic name "Pop Find".
Facebook needs to stop bullying, harassing and threatening us because we have unusual authentic names.
If I don't hear of a solution from Facebook for myself and others soon I feel compelled to go down to the Los Angeles Times and find a reporter to speak with about this and I may even find a few Co-Members of The Producers Guild of America to start work on a Documentary about how Facebook bullied, harassed and threatened its users in the name of saving us from bullies, harassment and threats.

Another user of Facebook responded to my issues today and I want to pass this along. This is not a response from Facebook but another user.

But there is nowhere to upload these documents and it is not part of your security profile along with your verified phone number.

I have no problem proving my identity. I have all the paperwork.
That is not the issues at hand. The issue is they have not make it easy for me to submit their requested paperwork, they have not shown it is secure for me to do so and much more importantly; I would like to know why I was targeted by them? Why did they ask me after 5 years as a users? Was it random? Are they profiling people? Did I do something wrong?, Was I reported to them by someone who wants to use their system to bully, harass and threaten me?
And the fact that other friends have been cut off from Facebook for months in cases while Facebook decides. Why was I selected, made to jump through hoops that are not visible and I am at risk of loosing access to service while they take their time to figure it out after they disrupted my work flow with requests for information I've never supplied to anyone in the past out of the blue one day.

Yes, looks like you are at risk of losing access to this free service for violating the terms of service. You weren't targeted, you're breaking the rules and it just took them a while to catch up with you. I think you've lost sight of the fact that Facebook is offered freely and if you don't want to comply with the rules, you will be shown the door. There is certainly no onus upon Facebook to do anything for you in regards to this service they're giving away for free.
That's also in the terms of service.

I have never been asked for a non-legal digital ID in my life! I feel it's a consumer rights violation to do so after allowing me to use the service for years and years and I thought we had an agreement that this was going to stop and it seems not. So maybe the public needs to understand they have consumer rights and that they are being violated. And that many indviduals including the people they claim to be protecting are being inconvenienced or hurt by Facebooks actions.
To say the service is FREE is also a lie. They gather information about me and my friends and sell it and show me advertising and also insert advertising into content in my posts and collect revenue. There is nothing FREE about any of that. I pay with my data trail and content.

Why should we trust Facebook with our most personal and private information? Like Government IDs, Credit Cards, or other things Facebook requests that can confirm our name; "things like a piece of mail, a magazine subscription, or a library card that include their authentic name"

I am still going to give Facebook any and all Information (against my will and better judgement) that they request for me to authenticate my authentic name as soon as they request it and make a way for me to do it. I just hope when they ask that I might be given a few minutes needed to scan things since I don't trust keeping that kind of Information on my computer. Preferably I really would like to submit the information through our security profile next to our verified phone numbers at a time before we are locked out of our accounts.

I'm also starting to question my Consumer Rights? Facebook has gathered all this information about me and my friends over the years. And now one day out of the blue after many years of allowing me to use the service I am targeted for no known reason to myself. I am asked for very personal information and am told with very few words, I forgot to screen capture, that I had the choice of providing this information now or in 7 day if I wanted to log back in and use the service.
Again it did it out of the blue while I was in the middle of dealing with a dozen people around the world I know and talk to through Facebook and have zero way of talking to other then via Facebook because Facebook is so huge we are all kind of forced to use it like a Public Utility.
Maybe a lawyer like Gloria Allred http://www.gloriaallred.com or some one from the http://www.aclu.org/ https://www.cdt.org/ http://www.eff.org/ should look into consumer rights and privicy in this case. I'm not a lawyer and don't know about that stuff.

Who was on your Top 8? Looking at old profiles from lives gone past. Who knows where you might go if you get locked out of part of your digital life. Looks like many of us followed more cool people and more cool people followed us over at MySpace. Why did we leave? Rupert Murdoch!
And they say Authentic Names matter! We always knew who everyone was by their true Authentic Name. Even with huge lists most performers, promoters and party people remember everyone in their lists.
I talked to someone yesterday who looked up their forgotten MySpace user name off an old MySpace profile of mine. They remembered their password and they logged in and they said they had 36K connected/followed them. Much better social networking list. Just saying! LOL
The other interesting thing is MySpace has not updated their since 2014. So it might even be like playing in an abandoned digital amusement park.

For others interested in what happens once you are forced to submit to Facebook so they can help to confirm your Non-Legal/Authentic Name once YOU are singled out, harassed and threatened by FACEBOOK.
I tried to log on today and Facebook immediately asked me to help them confirm my Authentic Name before they would allow me to log on and look at any information I had previously posted to my account. Too bad it is my nephews Birthday and I might want to say Happy Birthday!
It asked me to upload documents. It gave me a confusing set of options 1, 2 and 3. It had not been updated to reflect the information they had added in the safety notice. It said nothing about using Mail as a way to prove who you are like it said in the saftey notice (https://www.facebook.com/fbsafety/posts/861043117266861?fref=nf). It give you the option of uploading 3 jpg files. So the .png files I had perpared to upload all had to be re-encoded from png to jpg before I uploaded them.
I upload one jpg with a Copy of my California Driver License showing only my Photo and my Birthday and a Business Card which I have given to people for years showing only my name Pop Find (jpg 1). I also uploaded (jpg 2) my All Identities Matter Membership ID Card with my name Pop Find. I uploaded a final file (jpg 3) this one contained scans of two pieces of mail sent to me Pop Find at my home address. The first piece is from Krystee Clark at Common Sense Solutions which included a letter to me along with an envelope. The 3rd scan also had a second piece of mail with a Buck Slip and envelope from Julie Conn of Universal, A Comcast Company. Both pieces of mail show US Post Marks proving they were mailed to me at my home addressed to me Pop Find.
Facebook then emailed me saying they received my submission with a link to my support box. When I clicked the link this is the information I saw:

I think it is funny that they reply to me and had the word Hi, Hi, written twice. If I was in charge of Facebook I would try to make sure that one of the few times Facebook has ever written to a person that they would take the care to write a proper letter. But then again I would not be forcing my users to waste tons their valuable personal time submitting non legal documents for no good reason.

Ok I'm heading out for the weekend. I will be away from Facebook until after the robocop returns. I might make it back a few hours before the end but I may not. YouTube Shut Down the Smart Digital Networks, Inc. TVI 13 and Pop Find accounts.
December 2, 2019 a large part of me and my history and the history of Smart Digital Networks, Inc. was erased
by Google Inc. and YouTube. It is as if I never existed.
My mother and father, sisters and their children, Julie and I and our friends
will never get to look back and know when things happened and experience those memories again.
YouTube had previously shut down our TVI13 and PopFindDaily accounts without reason or warning.
The Pop Find account represented over 10 years of work daily.
Personally I will never be able to look back and say "On this day" I did something.
We as humans have become part machine and when a corporation deletes an account they are deleting not only your memory but others access to memories of you.
First Google, Inc and YouTube deleted my art (videos/playlists) then they deleted my identity. This is EVIL!!!
Google and YouTube are acting very simular to the Nazis who burned books, then destroyed art and in the end burned up peoples lifes and their identities making them appear as if they never existed.
If you attempt to contact Google or YouTube you will be sent a message telling you
"We'll review your report, and will contact you ONLY if we have additional information to share"
We have contacted Google / YouTube over a dozen times and they never respond. It is a black hole.
On Jule 15, 2019 Smart Digital Networks, Inc. is still locked out of all YouTube accounts (TVI13, TVI 13, Pop Find, PopFind, PopFindDaily, Etc.). It has now been three weeks. Some accounts appear to be terminated, suspended and others appear available but Smart Digital Networks, Inc. has no ability to "Sign in" to YouTube and edit or delete our existing content. Sucks when a corporation run by EVIL people deletes years of your life and locks you out of part of your digital existence with no warning or reason.
YouTube Shut Down our TVI 13 and Pop Find Daily accounts on June 27 2019.
While we were editing a playlist we were logged out of YouTube and sent a notice that our account was terminated. Part of our content was deleted and we are unable to log on. We have contacted Google / YouTube support three times and we have received no responce.
I believe Google, Inc. and YouTube are being mismanaged, people need to be held responsible!
I think the problem is some random security AI program
written and managed by idiots "People" destroying peoples lives "Users" while Sergey Brin and Larry Page
(Co-Founders of Google, Inc.) the 12th and 13th richest people on the planet are allowed to get rich
all while providing inadequate customer support. It's a crime!
YouTube is clearly a monopoly because it's the only way for U.S. consumers
to access a majority of video content made available by Corporations to U.S. consumers.
